Welcome to the Yesterday and Today Podcast! We begin our journey through the lives and music of The Beatles on New Years Eve, 1964, as the world reflects on the exciting, surprising and tumultuous year that transformed John, Paul, George and Ringo from regional stars to a worldwide phenomenon. The group had already found ways to transcend and redefine what was possible in the music business, but their next challenge would be even MORE difficult: The challenge to stay on top. The question on everyone’s lips as 1965 loomed was “will it last?”, and once again The Beatles would continue to defy expectations and somehow manage to soar even higher.
